General information

The MAD4Can doctoral program aims at recruiting creative researchers with clear ambitions to become tomorrow’s leader in bringing solutions to cancer patients and physicians through novel basic discoveries, clinical implementation and commercialization of inventions. Together, they will be an integral and important part of the MAD for Cancer scientific program and our committed work to save and extend lives of cancer patients – not for future generations but for today´s. The prospects for the MAD4Can doctoral program will be screened for their ability to both serve as intellectual and innovative risk takers and to push the future boundaries of cancer research. The programme will have two calls, the first will be in September 2016 and the second one in March 2017. In each call, eight PhD projects will be available.

Vision

The MAD4Can doctoral program will attract international top-level student to an advanced and ambitious regional cancer graduate program, where they will be educated and allowed to mature into future world-wide collaborative partners and ambassadors for the MAD4Can spirit, i.e. a sense of urgency in bringing forefront research to the patient today.
